Well maybe I’m just kidding about the lots and lots of bling part, but a girl can dream. I figured for my final ornament post of this Christmas season, I wanted to do something that was simple but that packed a lot of punch.
And what is more exciting than sparkle everywhere? Nothing, that’s what!
This year, Michaels carried stick-on bling that came in long strings of red and clear (and pearl as well). It was part of their holiday collection so I picked up a sheet of each. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of my supplies before I started-so sorry about that!
- glass ornament
- stick on bling
- Decide whether you want to start with red or clear and apply to the center of the ornament. It is important to make it as straight as you can because that will allow all of the other strings to be straight.
- You are then going to alternate red bling and clear bling until the whole ornament is covered. There will be certain spots of the ornament that will require the whole string and parts that will require a little less but it is really easy to break the strings apart- where necessary.
And thats really it!! It is super simple, requires very few supplies and takes only a few minutes to make. But it comes out really pretty and looks really nice on the Christmas tree!!
