Halloween wouldn’t be Complete, Without the Look of a Certain Yellow, Orange and White Treat

I have personally never cared for the taste of candy corn at all. But I have always loved the look of it. It is just so cute and Halloween-y!

If you feel the same way about candy corn as I do then these candy corn votives are the perfect decoration for your home. And if you do happen to enjoy candy corn as a Halloween treat, well, this is still a cute decoration for you too!

Spring Flowers Wreath

April Showers, Bring May Flowers

I love the spring!! Just knowing the warm weather is on its way is enough for me to want to throw on a pair of flip flops and run outside to greet the sun. And with the sun comes all the pretty flowers! While my favorite flower is the daisy, there is something about tulips in all of their pretty colors that is just so irresistible and just announces “spring is here“.
So in honor of the tulip, and spring, I decided it was time to make a wreath for my door full of tulips.

Kate Spade inspired Glitter Frame

“She leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes.” -Kate Spade
I make no secret about my love of all things Kate Spade! Between the sparkle and the bows and the polka dots! It’s all so girly and bright! And the fact that I can have Kate Spade for my daily bag, my shoes, in my kitchen and on my mantle it can be kind of hard to resist sometimes!! However; I realize that sometimes a frame is just a frame. And a frame covered in gold glitter is still just a frame covered in gold glitter- especially if it is without a Kate Spade ♠️ label on the front.

Shabby Chic Wreath

shabbychicwreath1

I have really been on a Vintage-y, Shabby Chic kick lately. I even told my husband that I want to live in a cute cottage, in the woods, just like Snow White. And I would decorate it in floor to ceiling shabby chic decor…hey, a girl can dream, can’t she. I think that this shabby chic wreath would be perfect on the front door of my dream cottage. But for now it has found its place on the door of my bedroom. Continue reading

“If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then – then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name! ” -Breakfast at Tiffanys

There is just something so classic and timeless about that little blue box wrapped in a white satin bow. Especially when it contains something sparkly!
I tried to re-create that look to display on the shelf in our family room. It was really easy to make and super affordable. I only needed a few supplies to turn an unfinished frame into a frame that is fit for any Tiffany fan.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words…

That is the reason I take more pictures than I know what to do with. As a Mommy I feel like I need to document every last moment from my boys lives. Unfortunately, I am the worst at developing pictures. I have pictures from years ago that may or may not be developed. I am just now getting around to developing pictures from my family vacation last year to Naples, Florida.

While I was going through all of these pictures I found a couple of really nice ones that are definitely mantle worthy. After a quick trip to the store I couldn’t find a picture frame that I thought would be perfect for any of these photos, so of course I needed to make one 😉 .

Most craft stores sell unfinished picture frames for a dollar or two, so I purchased a few of them (one for now and a couple for other projects…so stay tuned!). The next step is to decide what to do with these frames. I just happened to have a Lilly Pulitzer catalog from last season laying around. And nothing says summer vacation and the beach more than Lilly does.

Now it’s time to have some fun!
