Halloween wouldn’t be Complete, Without the Look of a Certain Yellow, Orange and White Treat
I have personally never cared for the taste of candy corn at all. But I have always loved the look of it. It is just so cute and Halloween-y!
If you feel the same way about candy corn as I do then these candy corn votives are the perfect decoration for your home. And if you do happen to enjoy candy corn as a Halloween treat, well, this is still a cute decoration for you too!

Make Something Old… New Again!!
I always get a little excited when I finish a jar of something, anything really! I am also a little weird- I guess. Once the jar is emptied it can then be used for something else. And hopefully it is something more fun than its use before.
Now, I am not going to lie I have a cabinet full of empty jars that just get used over and over to store leftovers- not very fun I know. But it serves a purpose and makes my life easier. Plus these kind of jars save a lot of space in the refrigerator.

Happy Valentines Day everybody!!! This really is one of my favorite months. What could be better than a month full of pink and red and hearts everywhere?!? Unfortunately the beginning of this month is just flying by and this pregnancy is really taking it all out of me. I didn’t get to make half of the Valentines crafts I planned on. So I guess I am going to have to save them for later on in the year, when I have more energy. Thank goodness hearts and love are in style everyday…am I right?!?
This is the only craft that I finished so I am going to post it before Valentines comes and goes!! My inspiration was of course, those classic Valentines day treats we all got in school during our Valentines Day card exchanges: Conversation Hearts!! While I never really cared to eat them, I always did enjoy reading the messages printed on them.

Kate Spade inspired ornament|Diamond White Daisies
Sometimes it is nice to get some pops of bright colors on the Christmas tree, that are more than the standard red and green and gold. And as far as I am concerned, Kate Spade rarely disappoints in that department!

I may not find any Tiffany blue under my tree this year, but at least I can have some Tiffany blue on my tree!
I always find it interesting to see how the final product of a project turns out compared to how I originally imagined it. Sometimes the project just does not work at all and other times what I thought would work turns out to be a complete fail.
When I first thought about this ornament, I was going to hand paint a white “ribbon” onto the ornament and then use an over-sized white satin bow in the middle. Well that idea (a) was really difficult to create and (b) just did not look right.
So it was onto plan B!! And with a couple of strips of small white satin ribbon and a little glue…my Tiffany & Co. inspired ornament finally came together!!

Do you love the shabby chic look as much as I do?
This is my second Shabby Chic inspired post, in as many days (if you are interested here is my shabby chic wreath). I just can’t get enough of the pastel colors and vintage, classic look. And in case you can’t tell I also love personalizing photo frames (see my Tiffany & Co. inspired one here and my Lily Pulitzer inspired one here). So, it only makes sense to make a shabby chic frame.
I think this frame would look very nice next to a vase of pale pink roses (look for that post coming soon *wink, wink*) over the fireplace. And like all of my crafts, this is another simple one. In just a couple steps and with just a few items, you will have a pretty frame that meets all your Shabby Chic needs.

“If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then – then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name! ” -Breakfast at Tiffanys
There is just something so classic and timeless about that little blue box wrapped in a white satin bow. Especially when it contains something sparkly!
I tried to re-create that look to display on the shelf in our family room. It was really easy to make and super affordable. I only needed a few supplies to turn an unfinished frame into a frame that is fit for any Tiffany fan.
